I'm having RPm Transmission install a Monster LT1-S twin disc. So if I'm going to do a gear nows the time. With Eforce, 3.5" pulley it made 528whp and 477wtq. I have since added 1 7/8" ARH headers and a Tick master cylinder. I have a set of ID1000 3.25" pulley to install. It feels like the headers helped a good bit. As far as future mods, I'm considering meth or my tuner is recommending e85, possibly a 3" pulley. I'm going to do a larger resivour for the heat exchanger too. I'm thinking I'll end up somewhere between 600-700 whp depending on what all I do. Would a 4.10 be too much gear? Should I be looking at a 3.73? I'm running 19" nto5r's not bit thinking about a set of et street r's on 17's.
This type of power added has plenty of tq to pull you out with 3.42 gear. IMHO, you will really struggle with traction if you to with anything lower (higher numerically) then 3.42.

Would less power and more gear be easier to launch and get similar results?
What car do you have? Are you setting up for street, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, top speed?
Its a 2008 base with z51 option. I drive it quit a bit in the summertime. I dont ever see me doing a 1/2 mile. I will mostly run the 1/8th because it's only 15 minutes from my house but will do some 1/4 mile also.
