How does lowering your car (one like mine) affect drag racing, I'll be using bfg 315/35-17 tires with an A4. How long of a burnout should I do (I don't have a line loc).

Re: Lower Car (urslooow)
I thought that you were supposed to spin in the water box, why do you say outside
Just drive through the water NEVER spin in the water. Spinning in the water does nothing but get the inner wheel wheel wet and you'll be dragging water to the starting line.
drive through the water until your rear wheels have cleared the water box... you just want a film of water on the tires ... if you do a burnout in the water box i think you might get some funny looks  and maybe a few pissed off racers too
The ricers do this all the time on our track.....front tires in the water box and smoking the tires then they drag it right up to the beams and piddle till they get the green....for an 18 second run down the track....Really sets my hair on fire....because guess who's up next?
I spoke with the track people and they said the ricers are their money makers...since more of them out there than American Muscle....between passes, takes about 45 minutes to get back up to the line....because there are so many of them.....reminds me of flies at a picnic....annoying everybody with loud boom box rap music going and under the car lighting systems :mad Okay....I'm off the box...and back in my hole.... :mad :seeya Cappy
