I definitely miss those days. I showed up as a completely green beginner, but every race there were always people that were willing to give up their own time to give advice.
I hope you guys can get back to racing...I raced the CC at Bradenton with Tracy Lewis mostly and the Palm Beach CC with Bob Mancuso some as well...I had a lot of fun at Carolina Dragway, the house of hook, when we had those National challenges...I am still racing but went to a dedicated drag car in 08 with an 81 Camaro...now I race a 79 Monte Carlo as many of y'all know...I am retired so I pretty much race full time...it is a small world in that the former owner of Carolina Dragway, Jeff Miles, is now the manager of my home track, Orlando Speedworld Dragway...it was good to see Bob at Palm Beach a few weeks ago...
Hey Dan, Miss you all!!!
Has anyone heard from Edgar???

One of many fond memories was walking into my first CC banquet dinner early on and John was greeting everyone at the door in a tux, we definitely had a series that trumped any other.
Paul Bogdan, Dave T, Darby, Jerry, the Copolas, and myself race at Atco from time to time, mostly for the index racing. Not sure if we will be so lucky this year with the Atco rumors.

I'm still here, but rarely. I usually pop in the hear about Fuzzy's escapades ;o). I really miss the Challenge. Without that and JP as my motivators, my racing has dwindled significantly. I still like to hit a few events each year at Island & Leb Valley to see some of my old friends. I'm rusty as hell and usually don't do very well anymore....which also doesn't help motivate me to go racing.

That means ralph only makes it to the semi-finals instead of the finals! Ha!
