Another profitable drag weekend!
We ran the 3 hours down to Imokolee Drag strip for the $1200 to win Super Pro, and $1000 to win foot-brake. We put 16 year old Emily in the dragster, and her boyfriend Jeff in the vette. Both went round, after round, ....5 total to the quarter finals before the tree malfunctioned and we sat there in the lanes till 1 AM before they gave up & split the purse. Came home with over $700 of it! Cost about $250 so we came out ahead. I'm getting to like this part of racing, as long as these kids can keep beating up on the Pro's!! :cheers: (this story is for all those that are sitting in the snow wishing they could be at the track....keep the faith, the season is coming!) :)
