Went to the local 1/8 mile track Friday night (Second time ever drag racing) my best run was 8.06 @ 89.8 mph, & 60’ @ 1.94, RT @.574 Was happy with my times, but know I can do better.
My big problem is my tires GS-C’s can’t get any traction. I have to leave my traction control ON or I will spin my tires halfway down the track.
OK my question is, if I was to go with BFG Drag radials and leave traction control OFF what kind of improvement in time do you think I would get?

Major. Your 60' will probably go down to low 1.80's or somewhere in the 1.70's. Every tenth of 60'ft that is gained, is 2 tenths of 1/4 mile ET, theoretically speaking.
My only question is..auto or manual ?...if you're runnin' an A4 I hope you have a Dana 44 out back...with your mods and a good hook a 36 won't last very long... :D

Try some Nitto drag radials. The BFG will hook better than the Nitto and be harder on the rear. You should be seeing 1.70 60'. In the mean time start searching for a Dana 44 to swap in. :yesnod:
