Nice! What's the details on it? I'm in the process of doing a Texas Speed 416 in my car.
Started with a new Dart 400" block...a warning...the block was supposed to come already clearanced...wrong...we had to do it ourselves...also Dart left out one of the oil galley plugs...sheesh...anyway...forged Eagle crank...forged Mahle pistons...all ARP bolts of course...comp pro mod level rockers...comp .715 lift cam...can't recall whose rods but good ones...same with balancer, a good brand, ATI I think...Moroso oil pan...we are putting on a vacuum pump, forget whose...lastly, a diaper will be put on...
We run a good break in oil, Joe Gibbs maybe, for 5 or 6 passes...then drain it and cut open the filter (Wix)...then refill with Valvoline VR-1, 10/30...after 70 passes we use regular 10/30...whatever brand is on sale....lol...if you have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer...oh yeah, my normal routine is to chassis dyno tune the new motor first...this way we know exactly where the optimum shift point is among other things...then we track test the vehicle...then off and running...
