We run foot-brake no electronics classes (no box's or trans brakes allowed.) chaseing $ through-out the S.E. at both NHRA & IHRA tracks. The box definatley gives you an advantage, thats why most tracks have different classes for box/no-box. We also ran last year in the Pro-ET class at Bradenton foot-brakeing (bottom bulb) against the best of the best with delay box's & trans-brakes. These are all-out drag cars and we were in first all year until we missed 2 races and ended up 2nd. All with a daily driven no-box C5. Now I wasn't driving...I'm not that good. Emily's boyfriend Jeff Keen is the foot-brake king for us. We run a MSD box & transbrake in Emily's 8 second rear engine dragster because it is standard in the class. Both box & no-box have their place....it's all racing! :cheers: :cheers:
