Please read the rules below, I will have extra helmets for any without, and you may wear shorts in the pits, but bring long pants to wear while driving.
We had a great time & I understand knowing all the rules takes time, but please read & be ready at the next race!! Email w/any questions.
Here we go Tracy. We may lose some convertibles but we have to go with the
13.49 per IHRA and insurance carrier.
Basic rules are as follows, but not limited to:
*Any driver must have valid drivers license.
*All drivers must wear closed heel shoes, long pants & long sleeved shirt
or jacket.
*Overflow container & battery hold down required.
*Drive shaft loop required for cars faster than 13.99 or if running slicks
(recommended for all).
*Seat belts required or a 5 point harness for cars faster than 11.99 or
convertibles w/roll bar or cage).
*Cars must be in good/safe operational condition.
*All convertible drivers must wear helmets & can’t have passengers.
*Faster than 13.99 drivers must where helmet and can't have passengers.
*Cars faster than 11.49 require roll bar or cage unless floorboards are
intact
(all cars faster than 10.99 require cage). Convertibles faster than 13.49
require roll bar or cage.
*Please consult our track manager about any specific requirements

Ahhh...if you have exposed driveshaft (I.E. not enclosed inside a torque tube) just check Summit or Jegs, or better yet....inquire with some of the Forum vendors....Keith Valone of Corvette Concepts should steer you right. He will know how easy it is for a C4. It is to prevent the drive shaft from puntureing the floorboards and or fuel tank in the event you break a shaft or U-joint. Standard for drag racing. Cheap & easy mod. :cheers:
