8sec Supra....vid...

Hey all -

Thought you all might be interested is seeing this vid: http://www.bpustore.com/titan_890.wmv

Titan's 6spd Supra running 8.90s....don't let anyone tell you it's a "street" car though - it weighs about 800lbs or so LESS than a stock supra, which isn't an easy thing to do....either way...it's quick and a 6spd ... madness...

That looks like my kind of fun. Some guys will be down on it - something about a Toyota guy posting in a Corvette forum. But still, speed is speed, and its fun to see what technology can do - just don't talk about cost or how often the engine has to be refreshed.

Awesome! Matt Scranton's 6 second 200 plus Celica is still the fastest I believe......but it is far from streetable! :cheers:

Ahh...you follow the imports a bit eh? Scranton Bro's run a TT V8 though! The quickest 2JZ (supra motor) powered cars are from they guys that tuned my ride - Bullish Racing in Hackensack, NJ - best run last season was 6.80s @ ~201mph....that's alot from an I-6. But it's totally a Pro-car...tube frame, tubed rear..you name it.

Oh, Green Rocket - I'm flying out to St Louis next thursday to pick up my 415" iron block '99 C5 - so I'm almost part of the gang!!

Scranton Bro's spend T&T time at our home track Bradenton here in FLA. They used to run a killer mustang turbo before the Toy! Awesome engineering. :cheers:

Cool video,Good Luck with the C5,when you get it,you should think about having Cartek tweak the tuning,Julio is the best,and works closely with the creator of LS1 Edit,he'll extract every ounce of HP from your 415.
