This weekend its ME vs Them
Ok guys..
I'm leaving tomorrow morning for E Town I'm running in the "NHRA SportCompact Springnationals"
I have no idea what class they'll put the Honda in, but the lowest paying class is $400 on Sat. & $500 on Sunday..
My "Plan" is to make my Honda as SLOOOOOW as I can.
I usually run very high 19s by starting in 2nd gear (its Auto) I've taken a lesson from Mackey :D & put an additional 300 lb in the trunk.. I'm hoping to run high 20s or 21.xx
My thinking is this....... Most of those cars I'll be running are 16.xx - 17.xx cars & the drivers are used to going First & being chased by 13.xx 14.xx sec cars. I think they (Import drivers) get very little practice doing the chasing ... I'm hoping to catch them :sleep: sleeping at the light... or just getting flustered by having to sit there 4-5 sec. while I'm driving away :)
I'll let ya all know how my Nutty theory works... on Monday..

Sat. there were about 70 cars...I made it to semi finals.. and just flat got beat.. My .541 light to his .530 He ran 17.33 on a 17.30.. I ran 19.99 on a .95 dial..
Sunday ... I plain F.....up :( I was dead late on the light.. & the dumb Honda decided to run .10 faster than its best run of the day..
I was Wayyyyy ahead of him & hit the breaks.. I "Thought" I was dialed HARD.. but still broke out.. However it WAS MY FAULT... MOV was.415 !!
:mad I was dumb enough to take THAT much at the stripe :(
