I just saw some Hoosier 315x35x17" Drag Radials on a ZR1 at the 2003 "Gathering", but I didn't get to talk to the guy that ran them. Is anyone out there using this tire? how does it compare to the BFG's and Nittos?
I have been using the Hoosier drag radial for about one year. I am on my second set. I am using 305/30/18's, on my stock 2000 polished rims. They hook up great - secret is to heat them up real good before you stage 110-120 degrees at about 15-18lbs of pressure. (I am still waiting for my M/T ET Streets - 17's.)
I found nothing on the Hoosier web site about 17 or 18 inch drag radials, I think they're using the Sports Car D.O.T. Radial road racing tires as drag tires. http://www.hoosiertire.com/rrtire.htm
