But there was one guy who was using a Hydrogen Rocket engine, & did the 1/4 in 3.3 @ almost 400 mph
If my "Memory" is correct, I think the guy who did it was killed in England trying to better it.. & I know all Rocket engines are illegal in all Drag Racing now

Yes in T/F F/C & Pro Stock, they are limited to 500 ci. However in S/G or S/C you are allowed any size engine.. but it doesn't matter because the class is limited to 8.90 or 9.90
In Comp Eliminator you can also go over 500ci BUT.... you must add weight x.xx lb per every ci so if you had a 600 ci motor the car would probably be too heavy to be competitive..

Our race team had the ET and MPH record for a front engine Top Fuel car up until the March Meet of this year. We ended up winning the March Meet and we were quickest and fastest front engine dragster with a 5.81 at 256 MPH. One of the other cars ran a 5.79 with an 8 at the event, but we still have the MPH record.
For those who aren't familiar with our class, we run the Goodguys events and a couple of the NHRA events. The rules limit us on fuel pump and blower size, cu in to weight ratio, tire size (only 12 in. slicks), number of injectors, and of course the engine has gotta be in your lap......

We will be at Sacramento Raceway this weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)..... come on out and say "Hi".
