E-town Friday Night?????
I'm going Friday night to get a few runs on the new convertor before the shootout June 9th. If anyone is going and you see me by the Lake You may be able to get a real good deal on a sightly raced Red '96.
The car launches REAL hard. I am sure that the front tires were off the ground but I was not close enough to tell. But then just after launch it noses over big time. If he gets that worked out, I am sure the new converter will be fine.

I watched him two times.

Thanks Eric, it launched harder than it ever did, I could feel it carry the tires and set them down but then it nones over so bad it almosts put me into the windshield, I sure Julio can figure it out. It a great ride for 30' ;)
Hey Eric, how did your dads car run last night? Do you guys use a weather station? My rig was running almost a tenth and a 1/2 slower than my TAG was predicting. I'm wondering if anyone else was running unusually slow or do i have a problem.
Mackey, what were your trap speeds on those runs, and were they unusually slow? BTW, you shoulda joined the "world" with us...you would have been home 2 hours sooner.
It went a best of 11.83 @ 115 with a 1.68 short time. It's a new combination, so I couldn't tell you if it was off its normal pace. It would be nice if it was 2 tenths off though!
Eric nice times on your dad's car. what did you do to it now that the cats outa the bag.
My nephews car doesn't really have a baseline. We've changed some stuff and haven't really got many runs on it. But he wasn't running anywhere near what we were expecting :(
My car is usually fairly close to the TAG. At the first Challenge it was off about .05-.06, but so was Bob Sebrowski and our cars run almost identical. But this time it was off a ton. Starting to think something is wrong with it.

Get that cat outta here! :jester
Ported and polished heads LT4 heads. Ported intake. Holley 52 mm throttle body. The hot cam, and stock exhaust manifolds remain...
There may or may not have been some other changes as well :D

Too slow or too fast? Mackey's MPH was way off too but it could have been because of other problems.
