Thanks for the update Edgar...let's see..if I get 73 points next month and the top four don't show up I take over the lead...kewl..
:lolg: ....at least I moved up two spots... :D
I went from 7th to 9th in points :banghead: :cuss . I don't get my car, in time trials it runs within 1-2 hundreths, in eliminations it decides to run 3-4 tenths off. I stayed for the night races and my time trials were 13.25, 13.23 and 13.21. 1st round it ran a 13.41 on a 13.21 dial in. I lucked out and my opponent had a red light. So 2nd round I dial up to 13.31 thinkning the better air will keep my car around that, it decides to run a 13.47, of course I lost, even with a .518 light and my opponent was slow off the line and was off his dial in also. . I hit my shift points all night and my 60" times were about the same.
I thing my car hates eliminations and only likes practice. :nonod:
Two first round losses, and still hanging on to second in the points. Think I have someone watching over me? :blueangel:  Boy I better start learning how to drive this thing. :skep:
Take notice racers: Just like Z is doing, you can stay and buy another tech card for the evening program...starts at 4 after the Ecklers Florida Cortvette Challenge races....$400 to win!!!!! and GREAT practice!!

Tracy, we ahve many racers that are doing just that at E-town, we even have some that run an extra eliminator the sametime as the Corvette Challenge and then stay and run the night show. Thats 3 eliminators in one day. If your comming a long way to race this is a great way to insure you get plenty of runs.
GULF BOY = Didnt you listen to Tracey. PRACTICE / PRACTICE/ PRACTICE. You just need to get your Chee (thats korean) so you can cut those better lights and dial in better. :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :auto: .GULFBOY just pull up next to me first round of eliminations and well stage together AND ill let you win :nono: :nono: :reddevil :smash:
Oooooh..."let me win"...okay, now it's on.. :boxing ..you and me first round... :mad ..I'll take you to bracket racin' school...when I'm running the second round all you'll be thinking about is whether you want mustard or ketchup on that hot dog... :reddevil
p.s. oh wait..are you that guy with the red C4...the one with the stickers and wing ?...my mistake...I'll just see you in the finals next month... :lolg: :lolg:

This sounds to me like a classic case of the butterflies. You may approach 1st round with some reservation and hesitation and don't execute the way you do when have a time trial when you have no dial to risk.
What I do to help this is after my first time trial, in my head I pick a dial. That is the number I am shooting for. So I am always trying to execute against a dial number. I get my gitters out during tiime trials.
