anybody else get a solicitation from DRAW ?

DRAW = drag racing association of women - not women racers, but wives of injured drag racers. I figure they got my name from NHRA (I joined) or maybe Etown. I think I will send a few bucks because I like the return address labels they sent me :) They have a cool little Xmas tree next to my name/address. MJ

While some of these women MAY be the wives of injured racers, they are mainly a group of women that have formed a non-profit, charitable organization, that benefits injured, or worse, racers and their families. They have helped hundreds, if not thousands.

Send them more than "a few bucks" if you can afford it. Also, JOIN! It costs $30.00 a year to be a member. It is a VERY valuable and beneficial organization. Watch for, and participate in their fund raisers. They have auctions, golf outings, barbecues, and any number of events to raise money to GIVE to injured racers. I hope neither, *I*, nor anyone reading this ever has the occasion to require their kindness, but they are there for those that do, from Joe Blow to John Ligenfelter. I have recently renewed my membership for the ?th time, and I proudly display their decal on both sides of my street/strip car.

JOIN and SUPPORT DRAW!!!

I am disappointed at the lack of response to my post. Have I inspired no one? Made someone angry? D.R.A.W is a MOST worthwhile organization. If I have never passed along a tip, or helped anyone with a problem, none given nor will be given, more valuable than this. Please for the sake of all racers, join and support D.R.A.W.
