Full Cage
Just out of curiosity how many of the big guns are going to put the cage in over the off season. I am wondering how many guys will continue to compete at this level. Will it be just me and Billy going ***** out event after event? :smash: :smash: :smash:

I keep trying to convince Chris & Doug to put the full cage in the vert but I dunno if it's going to happen or not.
I do expect that at least one if thier cars will have a full cage by next season!!!! ;)

I will look to do the full cage with a chute and all the extras needed to be NHRA certified. I am speaking to Dennis and Carmin about it after the season is done. I hope etown lets us get one in w/out any problems. See you in two weeks, I hope you can keep it together. :cheers:

A bigger field would be nice. Come on Cartek, East Coast get some more of your beasts to the track. Maybe some other Tuners will get in the game I hear East Side is working on a few C5's Some one should try and get them involved in the challenge next season the more the merrier :cheers:

MAJOR SPRAY what are you gonna do about a tranny???
a full cage means nothing if you cant keep a tranny in her for more that a run or 2 let alone a full season...

I will be trying the yank system again hopefully Mike worked the bugs out. :cheers:
And Brent the full cage means I can make more then one run on the 15th and all the other big guns can watch me and Billy from the stands :D

I think MR MajorSpray will be just fine on the 15th!
And....
Boweryboy will be right behind him chugging along as the "other 9 sec Vette Doctor C5".
It will be a pretty sad when my 9.90 C5 will be the 3rd slowest 9 sec C5 the Vette Doctors have on the track on the 15th:D :cheers: :lolg:

OK can we get an answer.. on the new NHA rule for the Verts and glass top C-5s.. if a vert goes with the smoothline.. or simlar hardtop.. then a 5 point .. cage is good down to 9.99 Any one..?? Any one having a sale on hardtops for the verts...LOL

OK can we get an answer.. on the new NHA rule for the Verts and glass top C-5s.. if a vert goes with the smoothline.. or simlar hardtop.. then a 5 point .. cage is good down to 9.99 Any one..?? Any one having a sale on hardtops for the verts...LOL
The ruling I got today was any Vette (I SAID ANY VETTE) running 10.99 or faster will need a 8 point cage aand related safety equipment.
