Pull-down is if you tighten the belts yourself. Pull-up is if you have a crewman do it for you. If your cage has mounting tabs with holes, you need bolt-in. Can't tell you about the length, but if you get the longer belts, the slack can be taken up easily.

If you pull up, You have the chance of knocking yourself in the face with your hands when pulling up. You may also slip and hit the roof. Always pull down.
