Electric Water Pump is a good idea for me. I don't know all the technicalities but here goes.

Pros

Pick up a few ponies cause you don't have the power loss due to mechanical water pump. Did not measure on my car since I did a header change at the same time (combined gave me 30 rwhp and 30 rwtq throughout the band)

Keeps the engine much cooler and more consistent (for bracket racing)

Cons
It is a little pricey for the horsepower return

If you set it up with a manual switch to have on in th staging lanes and forget, bye bye battery.

Anyone else can feel free to add pros and cons here.
