I run my E/T Streets with tubes and no screws, but I have to keep higher pressure in them because of that.. I don't want to f up my rims with screws, so - what I might end up doing is that I'll remove my tubes so that I can drop the pressure without worrying about the tires spinning on the rims and cutting off my valve stems...
I was running 17 - 18 psi with tubes and no screws (to prevent the tires to spin on the rim), but I will go with 15 psi or less without tubes... I know that Norm (lotahp) runs 12 psi
What kind of 60' times are you running with that pressure?
I usually get 1.64 with 17 - 18 psi but I'm spinning every single launch..
(used to get 1.50's with Drag Radials... )
I'm sure that I'll get 1.50's as soon as I remove the tubes and run lower pressure... Another option would be to screw the tire on, but I have no intentions on f'n up my rims...

Re: Mickey Thompson E/T and Tubes (Blue Flames)
If you are running a stick car and have M/H on the rear - You should have tubes and screws. Slower cars running street tires and M/H don't really need tubes and screws. At the track during the 2003 season some racers marked there tires early in the day. Later in the day the tires turned about 2 to 3 inches. The cars where high 12 and mid 13 second Vettes. So as you can see the balance will be off without the screws due to the tire rotating around the wheel. I hope this will help you. :)

The only problem is that the holes in the rims make them almost unsellable...
One more tube fact; there are tubes and then there are raceing tubes. Race tubes are much softer natural ruber and can hold heat, they allso can have an effect on sping in the tire. I usually ran tubeless, but there are some positive things you can get from them, if the car isen't hooking satisfactory tubless. Food for thought, Ric
