The Nittos are $25 more per tire.. should I keep the Nittos & try em or go with the BFG which have been good to me so far ?
I find the BFG's to work better for my car on the track than the Nittos. That said i would return them for a proven performer on the race track. I have Firestone run flats for the street. Bob
I ordered those same Nitto tires with the 'heat cycling' option for an extra $30 per tire. Holy cow...I just got back from my first ride. I can't get even get a 1-2 shift chirp out of em. Slipping the clutch in 1st from a 2.5 rpm start yielded barely even a turn of the tires with NO burnout. I have 413rwhp/420rwtq...These tires are very solid and I will be testing them 1/4 next weekend. Maybe the heat cycling from Discount Tire helped. I would keep them in a heartbeat.

John, don't you mean 315/35X17. In any event the TireRack guy told me that the tread design for all the BFG drag radials is changing. He said the design is going to be the same as the 18 inch drags that are used on the C5's. He said until the change is made the old design will be in short supply. I would call up and try to get the straight scoop. If you need a used pair I may be willing to sell you my old set. They have lots of tread left on them.

I just got them mounted yesterday and 1st test ride was today. Next weekend is my first 1/4 pass with them, so I'll post my 60' time next weekend. Compared to my 335/30/18 Pilot Sports...going straight is now like having a slick back there. I'm running 30psi right now. Everybody talks about Nittos needing extensive heat for them to stick, but I don't see it. I drove 10 miles on them (brand new) and started doing launches. They stuck like glue...
