Thanks to Edgar the newest Corvette Challenge site is now live. Graphics designer will be submitting the new logo this week, so the logo will be changing soon. corvettechallengemmp.com
Isn't that what "live" means??? That is why I asked the question, "LIVE??? Or Alive?". The response was, "Both... "
???
RACE ON!!!
The web site is LIVE as "finally activated". Contracts have been signed, rules have been gone over, structure of event has been approved. The Corvette Challenge is "Alive" and the website is now Live..... Damn now you got me confused. Bob

Nope. "Live" is the term used when a system comes on line. We use it all the time in consulting to signify the new application is now read for use. So Bob's use of the term "live" for his site coming onboard, online, realtime, etc, is correct.
Alive seems to be less of a fit for an announcement of a web page
Alive
Having life; living. See Synonyms at living.
In existence or operation; active: keep your hopes alive.
Full of living or moving things; abounding: a pool alive with trout.
Full of activity or animation; lively: a face alive with mischief.
