Division 1 Bracket Finals
Anyone going down to Delmar this Saturday to cheer on all of our own Raceway Park racers in the Division 1 bracket finals? JP, I know you will be there early on Thurday morning for time trials. I believe the gates open at 7AM on all three days. Eliminations on Saturday begin at 8:30 AM. Saturday's cost to get in is $12.00. I had the pleasure of representing Raceway Park in the street class at the Division 1 Bracket Finals in 2001. It was a lot of fun and very competitive among all of the Division 1 track racers that were invited to race. So JP have fun, enjoy and be safe. Mariana and I will see you bright and early Saturday morning.

JP, is your "first-round" streak going to extend thru the Bracket Finals, too?
I went to the 1st three E.T. Finals @ U.S. 13 ('98-'00) as a crew-member, but not been back since:
local track is now IHRA, and goes to Norwalk, Ohio, for it's Finals now.....
I always preffered Maple Grove over U.S.13 for the Finals, but the Reading-area hotel owners were raping us pretty good in those days, too.
One year ('00?), after an all-night down-pour, my partner had 8" of water in his pit-space the next morning;
I recall Delmar had a lot of 'blowing-sand' at the track, but track had decent grub, nice souvies, and the little go-kart track is a blast

I'm drive'n the transporter and play'n crew chief. We're borrowing Chrissy's rig and trailer. Leaving Thurs afternoon and will miss Thrus trials.

Ralph is gonna tow me down, we plan on leaving Thurs around Noon... I'll get 2 time shots on Fri.. & hope my "TAG" weather station is on the ball..

Yes Sheila who races with is a flight instructor, I could get her to fly me down there, but I'd feel bad about letting ol" Ralphie drive down all alone...
