Default Torque converters

I've put this on other sites but this is info many of you probably can help me with. I am considering either the ProTorque 2800 or the Yank "SS" 3600 TQC. I know the 2800 is very streetable but does it deliver well enough under the curve at the track? I know the SS 3600 has the kick but what about daily use? I use the car as a daily driver and wife drives it frequently. Some have said the SS 3600 is OK but with some problems around town. I know the "tolerance level" for higher rpms and daily inconvenience among many is really high if they can get great results at the strip. Car will see some road racing as well, but mainly for the street and some drags. Thanks for your help.

I had an PT 2800 matched with 3.42 and there was virtually no difference.

Not sure about the ss 3500 but I had Yank I think ST 3500 and it was just as if not more tight as the PT 2800.

What kind of car is it out of? C5 converters aren't compatable with anything else. They're actually simular to the LT1 camaro converter. As far as PT vs Yank, Yank all the way. I've seen people go from PT to Yank, simular stalls, and still chop a few tenths off.
