Confusing time slips. What's wrong
I put 4.71 gears in it and a 4000K stall and trans brake ans slicks, I could probably run 10's but this is a street car. My original goal was to beat a Z06 with
an automatic, but that has turned out to be harder than I origianlly thought
You usually find out the first couple seconds of reduced ET isn't too hard to attain ; because you can throw money at it with know speed parts and see good results.
I think you have pretty much reached the point where you have to decide whether to spend more money on HP to lower ETs , or money on drive train to make the current combo more efficent. Either way , you can lose some streetability; or all of it.
A looser convertor will lower your ets. One that flashes to around 4500 rpm should cut at least .3 of a second. The engine will be at a higher HP out put, accelerating harder from 60' to the 660'. Look at your dyno sheets and compare HP at 3500 and 4500. Torque gets the car moving ; HP is how fast it happens.

When I had my Mustang, putting 4.10's in it made me a bit nervous, especially as it was my daily driver...

a better track and better weather a try first. Then I might invest in CCW
drag package. I think the excessive wheelspin on the 1-2 shift is hurting
too. Thanks guys for all the help. Lots of good info!
