Some thoughts on Deep Staging
Here is a thread from another forum on DEEP STAGING & if a Rerun should be allowed...
Yes I'm PO'd but lets get 1 thing straight I'm NOT PO'd at Rob He won fair.. I want to know why a (racer??) would sit & NOT run the first time he did not get DEEP in time & the 2nd Time he did the SAME but lost so decided to cry for a re-run....AFTER he lost!
As Werner Wolf would say..."Lets go to the Vidio Tape"

John, I am truly sorry that you lost the points championship. The first time they started the tree early on me was in time shots and not in eliminations. This is certainly not the same. Before going to the tower to ask for a rerun I asked two people what I should do. They both said I should ask for a rerun. One of the people that I asked was a CC organizer. I guess you and others at the CC feel that I have no shot at ever winning a race and therefore it shouldn't matter if I lose another race. Since I have been racing deep I have been winning much more. This is evident in the results for me in the last four CC races. Next season I won't be deep staging because the configuration of my car will be different. If you really did not want to rerun maybe you should have objected to the RP officials. I also feel that it would not have been fair to Rob if there was no rerun. I think that this issuse should be put to rest now. If you would like to talk to me more about it you can talk to me at next week's challenge.

ANY time there is a re-run, SOMEONE is NOT gonna be happy about it...
weather is due to a Late tree, bulb not goin on, leaf blow thru, computer glitch, etc..
Someone will not be pleased at having to run again...
unless the error is against BOTH drivers..
