Track times...

Track times.. 2 runs... I would like to find out what I am doing wrong.. I think I should be in the mid to high 12's.. Here are my times.. All on street tires.. What do you think...

1st run

What gears the 2.59's or the 3.07's? I ran an 8.9 1/8 mile with a 2.14 60 foot, cold weather i ran dropped to a 2.07 60' and an 8.65 at 82 mph, i also have the 3.07 perf gears, stock motor, hypertech programmer, magnaflow exhaust

Are you getting any wheel spin? I don't see tires on the mod list. Sharpening up the 60' times could get you into the 12's.

I dont understand the big difference in speed 1st run was 102mph, 2nd run 107mph..

The 60' aint too bad considering street tires.. I'm asking myself why should my stock LT1(I have 1.6 RR also) be going so much faster ? Lets throw out the 12.2 that was done in killer air, but I run close to 110 and 12.5 - 12.7 all the time..

Are you manually shifting.. I have a Hypertech program, and leave it in D NOT OD & set it to shift at 6000rpm.

I am not shifiting and I am leaving it in D. My red line is set to 6500rpm. I am thinking mybe it is my program.. I used fastchips out of OK after my cam swap but maybe it just needs to be fine tuned.. I do not know it is kind of frustrating.. I have ran 12.98 in great air but usually I am in the low 13's..

The tires I am using are Bridgestone Potenza.. Stock sizes..
