Default line lock install

Bought a line lock from Summit Racing for my '93.I noticed that the inlet opening was different than the outlets. The inlet opening had a flat bottom and the fluid hole was drilled off-center,right next to the thread wall. The outlets (3) had countersunk (tapered) bottoms with fluid hole in the center.Called them about this and was told to return it.Got the new one today and its the same way.Does anyone know if this is correct? Also, the instructions say to plug the unused outlets with a 1/8" NPT plugs, but at the bottom of the page is a "caution",use SAE thread plug only. An NPT plug will strip the threads?????

Which kit did you buy? I bought the Hurst and bought an installation kit to go with it which had all the plugs and fittings you need.

Hurst makes 2 kits, #567-1510 contains lines and fittings and
#567-1515 that contains adapter fittings for 84 to 96 Corvettes and Camaros.
