ZF 6-speed with a speedo cable ???
I have a friend who has the notion to put a ZF 6 speed trans in his 65 GTO.
He has all the parts to do it, except some kind of adapter to change the speedo over to a cable driven. He knows he will have to has a speed correction reducer built, but is there any way to convert the ZF to a cable ????

No, he'll have to run a digital tach. The only 2 cars running the S6-40 trans are the C4 vette and the Lotus Omega, the omega has the same case, no cags but also a VSS drive, no mech. hookup. I seearched for this also and those are my findings.
