GM HEI Distributor Difference ??
Just wondering if there is any difference between the big block and small block GM HEI distributors.
If there is, can someone please explain the difference.

ALL Chevy V8 distributors are interchangeable. On a mechanical distributor, the centrifugal and vacuum advances may not be appropriate, and the drive gears can change based on the camshaft material. But they fit.

I didn't forget the "W" engines when I made that statement, but I ASSUMED, since all others were interchangeable, that those were, too. I stand corrected, and thank you. I've learned something.
