question about gm bare bocks

if i were to buy a bare block from gm, would it be finish bored, ready to bolt in the internals, or would i have to have some machining done? thanks

GM sells both finish bored and rough bore blocks. Select which ever suits your needs. At the least, you would want the bores finished honed to each individual piston.
