Default ignition computors boxes.

i am still gathjering the stuff i need for my project. i have all the engine stuff except the pistons (still waiting on the custom JE 7.5-1 pistons). the plan goes like this. i have a 30 over 454 block machined for splayed main caps. i have my SCAT pro comp lightweight 4.25" stroke crank. i am using SCAT H Beam rods. massaged Pro topline 360CC port/119cc chamber aluminium heads. an Isky solid roller blower profile cam, rockers, and red zone lifters. i have my weiand 871 BBC blower kit. i have a set of pro system 850 (?) DP carbs coming. i went with a mallory unilite ( i know, i know. later ) distributor. as soon as the pistons arrive i will finish machine work on the block and build the engine. the thing is i plan on adding a spray set up. now all this is going into a 75 vette i bought just for this engine. i still need to pull the body off and backhalf it but it will be tubed with a ford 9 inch using an auto tranny. so i am looking at all these computior setups. RPM window switches, boost retard, stutterbox etc. i don't want to add any confusion i don't have to. I will be using this for racing and car show cruzes. just lookinfg for what others are using to run all these functions.

Mallory makes good distributors. The Unilite module is the only aftermarket optical system sold. I have a Comp 9000 that's over 10 years old. My only complaint is that the advance mechanisms (mech & vac) aren't the smoothest & kinda cheap. They lockout easy enough though, if you plan on using an advance computer. I went with the MSD 6T & the plug-in rev limiter & timing computer.
