ram jet 350 ???

I have a Ram Jet 350 in a '62 frame conversion car (C4 suspension). (www.carols62.com)
The installation is pretty straightforward. You have to supply a high pressure fuel pump, supply line and return line. One "problem" with the Ram Jet is that the top of the air plenum is about 9.75" above the "china wall" (flat section) on the block. A friend of mine has a Ram Jet intake in a '64 and he had to use a big block hood in order to clear the manifold.
The original Ram Jets (like mine) did not have O2 sensors and they run very rich. The newer versions do have O2 sensors and hopefully that cured the richness problem.
I have had my engine running for about 3 years and almost 17,000 miles and so far it has been trouble free. The engine has good power and plenty of torque. I have a T-56 6 speed hooked to mine and, although I have never actually timed it, it feels quicker than my C5, at least up to about 100 mph.
If you have any specific questions, let me know.
