I thought the ZL-1 was only in the Corvette? I also heard elsewhere on the Forum that it is easy to create fake copies of this motor.

Nope, the Camaros got the ZL1 option also. That would be a fun motor to put in a street vette. Hey, I got a street vette.

It's not a bad buy.

He said it was a over the counter ordered motor, not an original ZL1.
As a side note, you can buy a new aluminum block for around $5000, and you would have to do machine work and cylinder liners...so this is a good buy if it's in good condition...it's already polished too.

2 Corvettes came with the ZL1
50 Camaros were made and shipped to Gibb Chev. 19 more were produced and sent to other dealerships. Needless to say Gibb could not sell all 50 and were seperated to other dealerships.
