I had the spherical clutch linkage installed and now I have problems putting the car into gear while its running. If I turn the car off, it slides right into gear.
I figured I have the clutch adjusted wrong, but I just wanted to run it by you experts!
I hope it's not a problem with the SpeedDirect linkage, cause I installed it too. I do know that I had to adjust the pivot ball a little further out to get the 1/4" clearance between the throw out bearing and the pressure plate.
I'd try adjusting either the upper or lower rod, or both, to get the hthrowout bearing further forward. I'm assuming you have the Lakewood housing, so you can see into the clutch assembly.
I'm going to play with the clutch adjustment tomorrow morning after I have my 1st cup of coffee. I do have a Lakewood so thanx for the advice.
I also spoke with the guys at LONG who make the shifter for the Richmond 6 speed. They said they could overhall it and make some mod that will make changing gears a bit quicker for $35. I think they also have a different shifter handle that is about an inch shorter.
