Just like their name....spiral them in. I got a cheap small screw driver and bent a 90deg angle at the end. Then you can use it to push them in or pull them out.
spirolox are a PITA
u just have to open up the first coil a tad to get it started
then carefully wind the other coils in with a small pick or screwdriver
I also like to stagger them in opposite directions(assuming your pistons are cut out for 2 on each side) most are
also make sure the pin rotates semi freely after you get the locks in
BTW if you think theyre tough to get in wait till you take a set out
Thanks for the help. After messing two of them up, I got the hang of it. The best way for me was pulling apart more than reccommendation of 3/4 in. but more like 1.5. Then they go in really easy with the screwdriver or flat punch.
