Default Supercharger Bypass

I am just about ready to begin the reinstallation of the new motor combination. As this set-up is totally new, I was considering a way to bypass the plower for the interim. My thoughts were to install an idler in place of the procharger, so that I do not have to remove any bracketry or components. I would also have to plug the oil feed and return, fabricate an air inlet from the existing 3" piping to the 4" K&N, and plug the blow off reference. Granted, I understand that the air will have to be "sucked" through a lot of piping and the intercooler, but this (removal of the boost source) may serve to aid in getting the combo worked out normally aspirated. Then after I get it suitably tuned n/a, I will just bolt the blower back on and I should be that much closer to the final set up.

The motor is a 408 (350 based) with a MRII, AFR 210CP, CC solid roller. The engine has a multistage NOS system. I would just like to take this in steps, to make it easier to tune.

Thoughts?

Aaron

Why not let the supercharger spin, and reroute the intake from the TB to a filter in the normal location, if it is still available. If not, put a small cone style filter on the TB.
