Default ZZ4 in a C2......

I have a friend who is concidering installing a ZZ4 fast burn in his 1966 coupe. Has anyone on this forum done this? Any problems to look out for? What induction did you use? Any clearance problems? Thanks, Bill

I put a ZZ 4 in an 86 Vet and this a list of changes:

1 Pan From Old Engine.

2 86 350 new oil pump

3 86 3350 water pump modified {Grind Rear of pump to fit}

4 86 Bottom pulley ZZ 4 hit cross member.

5 went with tpi set up from 86 so Needed distributor old engine rebuilt.

6 TPIS Chip made for the engine

7 TPIS big mouth Intake manifold

8 TPIS Long tube Powder coated Headers.

I hope this can put you in the right direction.

Put one in my 71 C3 this year and it was pretty much strait forward. Used orig waterpump and orig. distributer with mellonized gear for the rollercam in the zz4. If the car is a 4 speed you will have to get a new flwheel as the old one will not fit.
