I heard these are basically the 32v Dominion heads that were around several years ago. Anyone know if they made any changes, improvements, etc over the Dominion brand?
I too believe those are the dominion 32v heads that became so notorious a couple years ago.. I only know or have heard/read of one guy who ever successfully installed these on an LT1 and his article stated he had to machine just about everything to ever get them to work right.. sounded like the end costs were just about prohibitive relative to what you could spend on a bottom end package to make good power.. now a 383 with 32v heads.. one could dream.. i'd certainly pay the money (up to $8k or so) if the heads were developed properly and became a relatively easy bolt on..
I had called them about two years back. I talked to the guy from dominion, and he told me the heads are made by arao then distributed through dominion.
The 32V Dominion heads are built by Arao Engineering. I have been keeping up with them because I was going to run a set on my IROC. Since I'm going to Z06 and sell the IROC, I just recently inquired about 32V heads for the LS-6. I haven't heard back yet on wether they will have these available in the future. The araoengineering.com website has recently been put on line and has all the information your looking for as others have stated. I think you should be able to tell from their information these heads are very much worth it. Good Luck!
