Default Anyone using billet brackets on their C3?

Is anyone using aftermarket billet aluminum brackets for alternator, power steering etc on their small block?
I am interested in anyones experience with them and which one's you chose.
I think there are three main brands...March, Zoops and Billet Specialists.

Any feedback would be very helpful.

thanx

I'm using billet aluminum brackets on my SBC427. I got mine through CV Products, (800)448-1223 x194, which is a primary supplier to NASCAR racing teams. If you're looking for something 'trick', they have it. The quality is much better than the March stuff since it's designed for high-end racing rather than just merely "show", and they offer billet pulleys in custom sizes so that you can ensure you get the right ratio's for your accesories. Also, the prices are comparible to the brand's you mentioned.

I have a set of polished brackets from http://www.zoops.com. I have a 385 Fast Burn crate motor and their sales person was able to get me into the right bracket using the holes on my heads and taking into cosideration the long water pump. Its was a little more money than I wanted to spend, but they look great. The kit I purchased had a mounting bracket for the alternator on the driver side and air conditioning on the passenger side.

Zoops makes good stuff  . I had a set of Summit aluminum pulleys, and Zoops was the only company I found that makes 2 groove aluminum alternator pulleys. If you hold the Zoops pulley next to the Summit pulley, it is obvious which one is the better piece.

What year is your 'vette if your using the Zoops brackets for the AC?
I actually spoke to ZOOPs the other day and they have brackets for the alternator and the power steering for my 69, but there AC bracket does not fit the long factory style unit I have now.
They also said that they could custom make me a pulley for my AIR pump if i wanted...they seem like a great bunch of people.

I have a new 385 FastBurn crate motor with no power steering and no air pump. I haven't installed the air conditioning yet, but I will probably go with a late model unit that is smaller than the original. Sorry for the confusion, I should have stated I wasn't running stock components. In any case, the guys from Zoops seem to know what's required for most applications.

Good Luck!
