Will this fit???? T-56 question..
I know this isn't exactly vette related. But I have a new toy and I need some assistance. I have a 68 camaro with a 350 and a 4 speed. I want to put a T56 tranny in it from a late model camaro. Does anyone know if it will fit in the tranny tunnel. I know the TH 400 and TH 350 fit no problem. Any help is appreciated.

Yes it will fit. A guy on http://www.pro-touring.com/ is selling kits that keep the hydraulic clutch.
http://www.fortesparts.com/tremec/t56.html and http://www.drivetrain.com/gmt56inst.html have some great info on the T56. Drop a Pro 5.0 shifter on it and you'll love it.
