Put this in C-4 Tech and you should get some response; should be a lot in "Search" also.

Anything will fit in anything if you have enough money, time, money, determination, and money.

RACE ON!!!

PS. Don't forget the money.

I was going in that direction but it would take some changes, but very doable. Now I'm leaning toward an LSX. Lots of power at alot less weight.

It has been done, the only tricky part for hood clearance is that you will need to trim down the intake,,, I saw this done in Corvette Fever magazine a few years back,, the guy took his intake and cut enough out of the middle of the intake to shorten it, then he re-welded it

there are other clearance issues to consider but it has been done,, lost of time and trial fitting to be done

BTW, he then took it out for a test drive and snapped the half-shafts under hard acceleration, so its a domino affect of finding weaker components.

It`s a nice idea but not a drop in issue. Heavy modification to the front suspension comes to mind on the lone private transplant I personally saw. However GM has done one several years ago at there tech center. It was displayed at the Detroit Autorama featuring the new ZL1 block and twin turbos under the hood. Claiming 700 HP.

Also, Phil Tobin has a big block in his C4. Do a google search for "Hoover LT-1". He was one of the early few to hit the 10's with an N/A LT1

Default 454 small block

I would look at the 454 small block, should bolt up were the LT1 was.
