Default How Well Will These Heads Flow?

I have decided to ditch the cast iron '73 "049" heads and go with the Edelbrock Aluminum Performer RPM Heads. The specifics on the heads are:

Rectangular Port, 118cc Combustion Chambers, 300cc Intake Runners, 2.19/1.88 Valves.

Does anybody have any flow numbers on these heads? Does anybody know where I can find some flow numbers on these heads?

The reason that I decided not to use the "049" heads was because they would only allow my engine to make 525HP @ 5500RPMs before the power would drop off. I want to rev the engine to 6500RPMs. I believe that these heads will allow my engine to make a lot more power than the cast ones that I initially intended to use.

Are you sure you want rec. port heads. I put a lot of research into my heads before I Bought them and went with the Edelbrock Perfromer RPM Oval heads. I make approximately 600 Hp at the flywheel. If you go with the rec. port heads make sure you have enough cam to complimant them. I would call Edelbrock and ask them. Tell them your set up and I would bet a nickel they will recommend the Oval port heads. :chevy

Rectangular port heads suck on the street. Go with the oval ports.

What about GMPP's new roval heads-the ones on the 502HP 502 engine?

They seem to have some good flowing numbers.
