Attn: Super Ram owners

Has anyone tried to cut an oval shape in the plenum top getting rid of the divider and siamese the runners part way down?
Those that have ported their runners, are your ports bigger than mine?
Jason
As far as porting size, it's hard to tell, can you snap a pic of the runner with the gasket on there?
I think most of us just port out stuff the gaskets.
How much was the extrude hone?
I also have a super ram Q for the rest of the guys who will post here.
The instructions on my ram said that I could cut out the divider in the plenum, did anyone do this? Wouldn't this be a problem as the air will run into a flat surface on the runner wall, which seems is not very flow supportive?

Regarding the question on removing the divider:
On one of my Superrams, I did remove the divider, and knifedged the runner. I never actually attempted to remove the wall (siamese), due to the thought of losing torque. I do not know of the impact of the removal of the divider, because I did a lot of other work at the same time. I also severely ported from the plenum floor into each of the runners, as I thought the flow would be approaching. But likewise, I filled in the plenum on the backside of the runner, to the point that the back wall was basically the contour for the entry to the runner. This was the same intake that was matched to the big mouth that was ported to the 1206 FelPro. All of these mods were done when I was spending a lot of time at the flowbench. I had posted the values prior (270 ish cfm I believe at 28"), maybe I will see if I can dig them up again. This was considerably above the stock (235 cfm, I think).
However, I do know that the modded SR flows nowhere near the values of a fully modded (ie 1206 FelPro) MR.
Best of Luck,
Aaron
