Default 1980 L48 performance questions

Ok, i bought a 1980 L-48 this summer, i have an eddlebrock torker intake, a holley 650 carb, what are the best headers, and cam for this car, and where could i get them, and my mechanic wants to put on heads off a 305, to boost my compression, is that wise? also where would i find turbos for this car...my goal is a fast quarter mile

Im not so sure I would put the 305 heads on. If you want better compression I would look around for some older 64cc castings. The later model castings are lighter and weaker and more prone to cracking. If you put the earlier 64cc castings on your 350 it should bring you up to around 10to1 compression. Check my sig, The mods I have done make the car very drivable and all pump gas friendly. I have the setup tuned close to optimum, for what it, is in my opinion. The 1/4 ET is listed at bottom.
