Default 440 with 76cc head what compression ratio?

I'm going LS7 440 stroker and I'm wondering what compression ratio I'll be with 76cc head and 440 with 4.1" stroke and 4.125 bore. Flat top Piston.

There are more number needed to calculate your compression ratio, head gasket thickness and deck high of piston. I used .038 for gasket thickness and .030 for piston deck height volume. It calculates to 11.7, a little high for pumped gas.

Sweet, I was thinking it would be too low. That sounds perfect.

Not sure how to calculate piston deck or what that means. It's a flat top piston with valve reliefs. Hmmmmmm....

I come up with only 10.36 With .038 gasket -7 cc for valve relief and pistons -.025 down in the holes.

You need 64 cc heads to get good compression

This site even gave less at 10.27

I still have those GTP ported 317 heads for sell. I actually sold them to another forum member but they were for a 4.1 inch bore instead of a 4.0 as i originally thought, and he couldnt use them, so he is sending them back.

64.5 cc combustion chamber. 313 flow, double comp springs,2.10 intake valve. I cant remember the rest of the specs but i have them at my appartment.

I will let you have them for 700$, and i will pay to ship them. I will also give you the same garantee that i gave the other guy, If you get them and then find out that you cant use them like he did, no problem just send them back. P.M. ME BACK IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
