Pushrods
Does this sound like any particular pushrod to y'all? I'm trying to determine the internals of my engine without too much pulling it apart.
7.75" length (in a 350 block)
Two types of metal (the ends are different, look at drawing for example)
Has oil hole through it.
Number on it is 48829.

The length you posted seems a little short for a stock pushrod. Short by about .25. Most I've seen in the catalogs are closer to the 7.8 length.
Based on that part number, unless someone recognizes it, I guess all you can do is go to all the websites of the companies that sell pushrods and check.

Rainman,
48829 is an old TRW part number. It crosses to Sealed Power / Speed Pro # RP3212R. It should be a hardened chrome moly 5/16 dia. stock length rod.
