zz4 shortblock w/ AFR 190 heads...
This is the setup I think I will go with. Brand new shortblock (i.e. warranty), brand new heads. I am still undecided on a cam, I am running some calculations on desktop dyno to find the perfect cam for it. Looks like it will be in the 400-450 lb/ft range for torque with the stock TPI intake/runners/TB.
Questions:
- What are the flow rates for the stock intake setup (I will be using 24lb fuel injectors)?
- Does the ZZ4 have the correct bracket mounting points for all the accesories?
- Will I have clearance problems with the stock exhaust manifold on the regular angled (not L98 angle) 190s? If so, what kind of short tube headers would you recommend?
What do I need to change to go from a 2 piece rear main seal to a one piece (700r4)?

not sure on flow, but you should consider a high flow base and larger runners. AS&M makes a nice set that look stock. your biggest restriction will the intake if you keep it stock.

Yes it should

not sure, why not go with the L98 angle heads?

I believe a new flexplate for a 87 newer Vette will work.. in its place. and maybe a starter.. otherwise everthing else will bolt up
