im currently rebuilding a new ls3 gen 4 motor, and hope to get 550 hp., and around 600 ft/lbs torque
mods will be new cam, roller rockers, new pistons and conrods, new plennum chamber, custom air filter intake, new manual throttle body, will run autronic sm4 computer management software, 1 3/4 inch extractors.
any other members who have built up a similar motor with good results , i am interested in the mods that youve done to get them
Might be better off asking in a C6 section. To me that sounds like alot of torque. usually on these engines you have more HP then torque unless your are running FI..
without F/I, you're not going to have that kind of torque. It doesn't matter though. You can achieve your goals or get close with the right heads, cam, intake combo.
My friend just added a cam and headers to his 08 C6 auto and made 460rwhp, so that's about 540 at the fly.
We have worked on many LS3 Corvettes and have achieved over 500 RWHP with an air intake, LG Pro Long Tube Headers, U/D pulley, and our G6X3 cam. I have this setup in my personal daily driver car, and I have 510 RWHP with 482 RWTQ. (I have also had my heads shaved to bump up the compression)
Please feel free to give us a call and we will be glad to discuss your options.
