I recently bought the FAST/SpeedPro eDist distributorless ignition to go along with the FAST/SpeedPro SEFI, but I haven't installed it yet. I still need to buy the coils and a DIS MSD ignition box. If no one else responds, Ill let you know in a month or so, if you're still interested.

Monty - do you have a site add? I would like to look up some info. I just took my Mallory Unilite down for a recurving ............. While I was there I got to talking to Earson Cam supervisor. They use Crane Cam blanks and he would make custom cams how ever I want for $225 out the door if I would run their stickers. That was for the small base circle sleeved gear. When I told him about my cam he suggested more than the 8 degrees split that I have on all solid rollers. Really nice guy.

The other good news that I never even knew about is they have all new motor and chassis dyno facility.

Is this the site?

Yep, that's it. Also, MSD just released a DIS dox as well that is pretty equilvalent.

I'm curious too. Where does the DIS get crank and cam angle readings on this system?

You will need a crank trigger and a cam plug with sensor - both available from MSD.

Thanks, Monty.

I always wondered where they inserted the cam angle sensor for a SBC - I see now it's on the oil pump shaft. One of the people on DIY-EFI had hooked up a DIS using the GM computer & spark module (no MSD box). Now I think I know how he did it. Very interesting.
