Default Can I mount the coil horizontally?

I've replaced the stock coil with a MSD2 Blaster and I'd like to mount it horizontally. Does it matter if the coil is right-side up, horizontal or even upside down?

Tom,
The instructions i have from MSD recommend vertical as the oil in the coil helps to keep the windings cool. ......redvetracr

I've heard what REDVETTE just said. My MSD Baster II is mounted on the fire wall at a 45 degree upside down. It's never burned up in 10+ years. It was the best I could mount it with available space and the length of the coil wire.

To close out this thread - additional research indicates MSD recommends the coil be vertical and I found a way to mount it that way. There is a "High Vibration" coil that doesn't use oil for cooling, and it can be mounted in any orientation.
